London Attractions - National Gallery
The National Gallery, London houses one of the greatest collections of European painting in the world. This collection of 2,300 paintings belongs to the public and entrance to see them is free though there are charges for entry to special exhibitions. 
It is located on the north side of Trafalgar Square . It holds the National Collection of Art from 1250 to 1900 .
The collection includes work by Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt,Gainsborough, Turner, Renoir, Cezanne, Giotto, Velazquez, Monet, Rubens and Van Gogh.
Also special exhibitions, lectures, video and audio-visual programmes, guided tours and holiday events for children and adults are held here.
